**Kenneth Ridge** ([70°57′S 71°30′E](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?params=70_57_S_71_30_E)) is the northernmost of three rock outcrops in the northern part of the [Manning Nunataks](/source/Manning_Nunataks), Antarctica. The [nunataks](/source/Nunatak) were photographed by U.S. Navy [Operation Highjump](/source/Operation_Highjump) (1946–47) and [Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions](/source/Australian_National_Antarctic_Research_Expeditions) (ANARE) (1957). They were visited by the [Soviet Antarctic Expedition](/source/Soviet_Antarctic_Expedition) in 1965 and by ANARE in 1969, and were named by the [Antarctic Names Committee of Australia](/source/Antarctic_Names_Committee_of_Australia) for [Kenneth A. Smith](/source/Kenneth_A._Smith), a radio officer at [Mawson Station](/source/Mawson_Station) in 1969, and a member of the ANARE [Prince Charles Mountains](/source/Prince_Charles_Mountains) survey party in the same year.[1]
