# Kenneth Healey

**Kenneth Healey** (1899–1985[1]) was the 3rd [Bishop of Grimsby](/source/Bishop_of_Grimsby), serving from 1958 to 1966.[2]

Educated at [Moulton Grammar School](/source/Moulton_Grammar_School),[3] he was [ordained](/source/Ordained) in 1932. His first post was as a [Curate](/source/Curate) in [Grantham](/source/Grantham) after which became [Rector](/source/Rector_(ecclesiastical)) of [Bloxholm](/source/Bloxholm).[4] He then served as [Rural Dean](/source/Rural_Dean) of [Lafford](/source/Billinghay)[5] and then [Archdeacon of Lincoln](/source/Archdeacon_of_Lincoln) (1951–58). Finally, from 1966 he was one of the [diocese's](/source/Diocese_of_Lincoln)’s two [suffragan bishops](/source/Suffragan_bishop), the other being the [Bishop of Grantham](/source/Bishop_of_Grantham). Until his death he continued to serve as an [assistant bishop](/source/Assistant_bishop).
