## National team career

In October 2009, he was elected [Japan U-17 national team](/source/Japan_national_under-17_football_team) for [2009 U-17 World Cup](/source/2009_FIFA_U-17_World_Cup). He played full time in all 3 matches as a [right back](/source/Defender_(association_football)#Full-back).[2]

He made his debut for [Japan national football team](/source/Japan_national_football_team) on 30 March 2021 in a [World Cup qualifier](/source/2022_FIFA_World_Cup_qualification_%E2%80%93_AFC_second_round) against Mongolia.[3]
