**Keith Skillen** (26 May 1948 – 7 August 2013) was an English professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who played as a [forward](/source/Forward_(association_football)).

## Career

Born in [Cockermouth](/source/Cockermouth), Skillen played for Deer Orchard, [Netherfield](/source/Kendal_Town_F.C.), [Workington](/source/Workington_A.F.C.), [Hartlepool United](/source/Hartlepool_United_F.C.) and Cockermouth.[1][2]

## Later life and death

Skillen died on 7 August 2013,[3] at the age of 65, after suffering from motor neurone disease.[1]
