**Keith Jobling** (26 March 1934 – 20 September 2020) was an English professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who made 450 appearances in [the Football League](/source/The_Football_League) as a [centre half](/source/Defender_(association_football)) for [Grimsby Town](/source/Grimsby_Town_F.C.).[1][2] Until overtaken by [John McDermott](/source/John_McDermott_(English_footballer)) in 2000, Jobling was Grimsby Town's appearance record-holder.[3] After leaving Grimsby he joined [Boston United](/source/Boston_United_F.C.), first as a player and then as successor to [Jim Smith](/source/Jim_Smith_(footballer%2C_born_1940)) as manager.[2]

Jobling died on 20 September 2020, at the age of 86.[4]
