== Career ==
He was a member of the [Jabberwocks](/source/Jabberwocks), [Brown University](/source/Brown_University)'s oldest male a cappella group, while in college. He was later a member of [the New Christy Minstrels](/source/the_New_Christy_Minstrels) before signing to [Epic Records](/source/Epic_Records) as a solo artist in 1969.
