'''Akebu''' or '''Kebu''' (also ''Kabu''; in {{langx|fr|akébou}}) is one of the [Ghana–Togo Mountain languages](/source/Ghana%E2%80%93Togo_Mountain_languages) spoken by the [Akebu people](/source/Akebu_people) of southern [Togo](/source/Togo) and southeastern [Ghana](/source/Ghana). It is a tonal language with nominal classes. Akebu is closely related to the [Animere language](/source/Animere_language).

In 2002 there were about 56,400 speakers, located primarily in the Akébou district of the [Plateau Region](/source/Plateaux_Region%2C_Togo) of Togo.{{cn|date=February 2024}}
