**Katrina Smith** (born 1973 or 1974)[2] is an American politician who has served as a member of the [Maine House of Representatives](/source/Maine_House_of_Representatives) since December 7, 2022. She represents Maine's 62nd House district. She lives in [Palermo, Maine](/source/Palermo,_Maine).

## Electoral history

Smith ran in the [2020 Maine House of Representatives election](/source/2020_Maine_House_of_Representatives_election) but lost to [Democratic](/source/Democratic_Party_(United_States)) opponent [Stanley Zeigler](/source/Stanley_Zeigler). She ran in the [2022 Maine House of Representatives election](/source/2022_Maine_House_of_Representatives_election) and won. After the 2024 election, Republicans innthe Maine House chose Smith as their assistant leader.[3]

## Biography

Smith earned a [Bachelor of Arts](/source/Bachelor_of_Arts) in sociology from [Gordon College](/source/Gordon_College_(Massachusetts)) in 1995.[4] She is a [Christian](/source/Christians).[5]
