# Katrin Ofner

**Katrin Ofner** (born 5 March 1990) is an Austrian [freestyle skier](/source/Freestyle_skiing), specializing in [ski cross](/source/Ski_cross).[1]

## Career

Ofner competed at the [2010 Winter Olympics](/source/2010_Winter_Olympics) for Austria. She placed 22nd in the qualifying round in [ski cross](/source/Freestyle_skiing_at_the_2010_Winter_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Women's_ski_cross), to advance to the knockout stages. She finished third in her first round heat, failing to advance.[2]

As of April 2013, her best finish at the [World Championships](/source/FIS_Freestyle_World_Ski_Championships) is 4th, in [2011](/source/FIS_Freestyle_World_Ski_Championships_2011).[1]

Ofner made her [World Cup](/source/FIS_Freestyle_Skiing_World_Cup) debut in January 2008. As of April 2013, she has three World Cup podium finishes, the best a second place, coming at [Blue Mountain](/source/Blue_Mountain_(ski_resort)) in [2011/12](/source/2011%E2%80%9312_FIS_Freestyle_Skiing_World_Cup). Her best World Cup overall finish in ski cross is 7th, in [2011/12](/source/2011%E2%80%9312_FIS_Freestyle_Skiing_World_Cup).[1]

She also competed at the [2014 Winter Olympics](/source/2014_Winter_Olympics), [2018 Winter Olympics](/source/2018_Winter_Olympics), and [2022 Winter Olympics](/source/2022_Winter_Olympics).[3]
