# Karel Fleischner

**Karel Fleischner** was a male international [table tennis](/source/Table_tennis) player from [Czechoslovakia](/source/Czechoslovakia).[1] He won a [bronze medal](/source/Bronze_medal) at the [1936 World Table Tennis Championships](/source/1936_World_Table_Tennis_Championships) in the men's doubles, teaming with [Adolf Slar](/source/Adolf_Slar).[2][3]

Fleishchner was of Jewish origin, and one of a number of Czech athletes who died in [Nazi concentration camps](/source/Nazi_concentration_camps).[4]
