# Kabwe District

**Kabwe District** is a [district](/source/Districts_of_Zambia) of [Zambia](/source/Zambia), located in [Central Province](/source/Central_Province,_Zambia). The capital lies at [Kabwe](/source/Kabwe). As of the 2010 Zambian Census, the district had a population of 299,206 people.[1] It consists of two constituencies, namely [Kabwe Central](/source/Kabwe_Central) and [Bwacha](/source/Bwacha_(constituency)).[2][3]
