**KSS** is a design group founded in 1991 that specializes in [architecture](/source/Architecture), [interior design](/source/Interior_design), branding and graphics.

Their first major sports stadium project was the redevelopment of [Stamford Bridge](/source/Stamford_Bridge_(stadium)) in 1991, commissioned by former [Chelsea FC](/source/Chelsea_F.C.) chairman Ken Bates,[1] integrating retail, commercial, hotel and residential usages around the football stadium.[2][3] Recent years have seen the completion of [Falmer Stadium](/source/Falmer_Stadium) in [Brighton](/source/Brighton),[4] [Twickenham Stadium](/source/Twickenham_Stadium) Players’ Facilities,[5] London 2012 Basketball Arena,[6] [Tottenham Hotspur FC’s](/source/Tottenham_Hotspur_F.C.) training centre and [Brighton & Hove Albion FC’s](/source/Brighton_%26_Hove_Albion_F.C.) training complex.

The practice has recently completed the Main Stand expansion at [Anfield](/source/Anfield) for Liverpool FC,[7] [Sammy Ofer Stadium](/source/Sammy_Ofer_Stadium) in [Haifa, Israel](/source/Haifa) which achieved UEFA Category 4 status, and [Stade Océane](/source/Stade_Oc%C3%A9ane) in [La Havre, France](/source/Le_Havre), which is Europe’s first energy positive stadium.[8]

KSS have recently unveiled plans for [Crystal Palace FC's](/source/Crystal_Palace_F.C.) [Selhurst Park](/source/Selhurst_Park) redevelopment[9] and new training facilities for [Leicester City FC](/source/Leicester_City_F.C.)[10] and [Liverpool FC](/source/Liverpool_F.C.).[11]

KSS has also acted as technical advisers for [Manchester City F.C.](/source/Manchester_City_F.C.)'s move from [Maine Road](/source/Maine_Road) to the [City of Manchester Stadium](/source/City_of_Manchester_Stadium) which hosted the [2002 Commonwealth Games](/source/2002_Commonwealth_Games) and was also the external technical reviewer for post-2012 Summer Olympics transformation at the [Olympic Stadium](/source/Olympic_Stadium).
