== Early life and career ==
Jux was born on 1 September 1989 in [Dar es Salaam](/source/Dar_es_Salaam). In 2008 Jux signed to Tanzanian record label A.M Records and began to record R&B songs instead. Since then, he has released several hit songs, including "Sugua" featuring [Diamond Platnumz](/source/Diamond_Platnumz), "Juu" featuring [Vanessa Mdee](/source/Vanessa_Mdee), and "Regina" featuring [Otile Brown](/source/Otile_Brown).{{cn|date=March 2026}} In 2015, he received the Best R&B Song award at Kili Music Awards (also known as the [Tanzania Music Awards](/source/Tanzania_Music_Awards)). Jux dated Tanzanian artist [Vanessa Mdee](/source/Vanessa_Mdee) for about six years. They released singles together, and in 2018 embarked on "In Love with Money" tour.
