With Nigeria, he won the Olympic bronze medal. Junior Ajayi helped Egyptian giants Al Ahly secure 2 [CAF Champion Leagues](/source/CAF_Champions_League), [2019–20](/source/2019%E2%80%9320_CAF_Champions_League) and [2020–21](/source/2020%E2%80%9321_CAF_Champions_League).
