# Jules Halbert

**Jules Halbert** (1886 in Landreau – 1955) was a [French](/source/French_people) clergyman and [bishop](/source/Bishop) for the [Roman Catholic Diocese of Port-Vila](/source/Roman_Catholic_Diocese_of_Port-Vila). He was appointed bishop in 1939.[1]
