'''''Juke Box Saturday Night''''' was a short-lived Australian television series which aired on Melbourne station [GTV-9](/source/GTV_(Australian_TV_station)) from around November 1957 to January 1958.

The series presented a mix of older and new pop hits.<ref>{{Cite news |date=1958-01-23 |title=Saturday Television |page=7 |work=[The Age](/source/The_Age) |department=Radio/TV Supplement |url=https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=HEwRAAAAIBAJ&sjid=dJUDAAAAIBAJ&dq=juke-box-saturday-night+channel-9&pg=4169,2999875 |access-date=2022-05-22}}</ref> The series featured the cast lip-syncing hit recordings by other artists, in a manner similar to ''[Hit Parade](/source/Hit_Parade_(Australian_TV_series))''. Such series were eventually rendered obsolete by 1959, due to series such as ''[Six O'Clock Rock](/source/Six_O'Clock_Rock)'' and ''[The Bert Newton Show](/source/The_Bert_Newton_Show)''. Notably, the cast included Bob Horsfall, [Diana Trask](/source/Diana_Trask) and Susan Gaye-Anderson<ref>{{Cite news |date=1958-01-30 |title=Saturday Television |page=7 |work=[The Age](/source/The_Age) |department=Radio/TV Supplement |url=https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=IkwRAAAAIBAJ&sjid=dJUDAAAAIBAJ&pg=4124,3972740 |access-date=2022-05-28}}</ref> along with the "GTV-9 Dancers".

Competition in the time-slot consisted of feature films on [HSV-7](/source/HSV_(TV_station)) and varying programs on ABV-2 (depending on the week, this ranged from a feature film, live variety, [telerecorded](/source/Telerecording) variety, a documentary, and even swimming coverage).

It is not known if any of the live episodes were ever [kinescope](/source/kinescope)d, although this is unlikely given the short run of the series, and it is possible (though not confirmed) that the series is [lost](/source/Lost_television_broadcast).

In early 1958 the series became/was replaced with by ''[The Astor Show](/source/The_Astor_Show)'', which had a format similar to ''Hit Parade''.
