# Judgement 2012

**Judgement 2012** was a [professional wrestling](/source/Professional_wrestling) event promoted by [DDT Pro-Wrestling](/source/DDT_Pro-Wrestling) (DDT). It took place on March 11, 2012, in [Tokyo, Japan](/source/Tokyo), at the [Korakuen Hall](/source/Korakuen_Hall).[1][2] It was the sixteenth event under the [Judgement](/source/DDT_Judgement) name. The event aired domestically on [Fighting TV Samurai](https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIGHTING_TV_%E3%82%B5%E3%83%A0%E3%83%A9%E3%82%A4).

## Storylines

Judgement 2012 featured seven [professional wrestling matches](/source/Professional_wrestling_match_types) that involved different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds and [storylines](/source/Narrative_thread). Wrestlers portrayed [villains](/source/Heel_(professional_wrestling)), [heroes](/source/Face_(professional_wrestling)), or [less distinguishable characters](/source/Glossary_of_professional_wrestling_terms#Tweener) in the scripted events that built tension and culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches.[3]

## Event

The first match saw [Gota Ihashi](/source/Gota_Ihashi)'s return to DDT.

Next was a match dubbed "A Major Explosion!? Rocket Punch" featuring [Masao Inoue](/source/Masao_Inoue_(wrestler)) from [All Japan Pro Wrestling](/source/All_Japan_Pro_Wrestling) (AJPW).

After the match, a video segment showed [Poison Julie Sawada](/source/Poison_Julie_Sawada) pinning [Antonio Honda](/source/Antonio_Honda) to win the [Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship](/source/Ironman_Heavymetalweight_Championship).

The third match was the "Ironman Battle Royal", a [Championship Scramble](/source/Professional_wrestling_match_types#Championship_Scramble) with a ten-minute time limit for the Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship in which there were no [interim champions](/source/Interim_championship) but rather actual title changes because of the 24/7 rule of the championship. The participants all started the match together and only pinning the current champion counted as a title change. After four title changes, [Kana](/source/Kana_(wrestler)) won the bout and became the 898th champion.

The fifth match featured Team 246 ([Kaz Hayashi](/source/Kaz_Hayashi) and [Shuji Kondo](/source/Shuji_Kondo)) from AJPW.
