**Joypurhat-2** is a constituency represented in the [Jatiya Sangsad](/source/Jatiya_Sangsad) (National Parliament) of [Bangladesh](/source/Bangladesh). Since 13th February, 2026, this constituency is represented by [Md. Abdul Bari](/source/Md._Abdul_Bari_(Joypurhat_politician)), a member of the [Bangladesh Nationalist Party](/source/Bangladesh_Nationalist_Party).

## Boundaries

The constituency encompasses [Akkelpur](/source/Akkelpur_Upazila), [Kalai](/source/Kalai_Upazila) and [Khetlal](/source/Khetlal_Upazila) upazilas.[1][2]

## History

The constituency was created in 1984 from a Bogra constituency when the former Bogra District was split into two districts: [Bogra](/source/Bogra_District) and [Joypurhat](/source/Joypurhat_District).[3]
