==Early life==
From [Sydney](/source/Sydney), he started athletics when he was six years-old. He also played [Australian Rules Football](/source/Australian_Rules_Football) as a youngster and played [rugby league](/source/rugby_league) for Camden Rams. He was offered a Rugby Sevens contract by Rugby Australia in 2019, but declined in order to focus on athletics.
