# Josh Heuston

**Joshua Heuston** (born 18 November 1996) is an Sri Lankan-Australian actor.[1] He is best known for his roles in the Australian television series *[Dive Club](/source/Dive_Club)* (2021), *More Than This*, *[Heartbreak High](/source/Heartbreak_High_(2022_TV_series))*, *[Bali 2002](/source/Bali_2002)* (all three 2022), and more recently *[Off Campus](/source/Off_Campus)* (2026); as well as for his work in modelling.

## Early life and education

Heuston was born and raised in Western [Sydney](/source/Sydney), growing up in [Baulkham Hills](/source/Baulkham_Hills).[2] He is of Anglo-[Sri Lankan](/source/Sri_Lankan_Australians) descent.[3]

## Career

### Modelling

Heuston was working as a bartender during first year at university when he was scouted to be a model.[4][5] After some thought, he explored photography and style then started seriously posting to Instagram and YouTube where he quickly became a sought after content creator.[4][5] Heuston has worked on campaigns for major brands such as [Fendi](/source/Fendi), [Gucci](/source/Gucci), [Louis Vuitton](/source/Louis_Vuitton), [David Jones](/source/David_Jones_(department_store)) and [Burberry](/source/Burberry) among many others.[1][4][5][6] He was invited to sit in the front row of the Milan and Shanghai catwalk for Tommynow Drive by [Tommy Hilfiger](/source/Tommy_Hilfiger) and did a meet and greet for the brand in Sydney.[5][7][8][9]

In 2018, he made his [Australian Fashion Week](/source/Australian_Fashion_Week) debut walking for the brand 'Justin Cassin'.[5]

In 2020, Heuston was part of a campaign for [Bumble](/source/Bumble) in Australia where his dating profile was featured and encouraged "virtual dating" during the pandemic.[10]

### Acting

Heuston stated that he was betrayed by his own shyness and never pursued drama while at school.[4] After featuring in the music video for [Super Cruel](/source/Super_Cruel)'s song "Sicklaced" with Cartia Mallan in 2017,[11] Heuston fell in love with acting and started classes.[4][12]

Heuston's screen acting debut came in the [Network 10](/source/Network_10) teen thriller series *[Dive Club](/source/Dive_Club)*, starring alongside [Miah Maddern](/source/Miah_Madden) and [Georgia-May Davis](/source/Georgia-May_Davis), which aired on [Network 10](/source/Network_10) in Australia followed by an international [Netflix](/source/Netflix) release.[4][13][14] The series is set in the fictional seaside town of Cape Mercy and focuses on a group of school girl ocean divers. Heuston plays the part of Henry, the towns resident sad boy with a heart of gold.[4] The series was filmed on the [Great Barrier Reef](/source/Great_Barrier_Reef) in [Port Douglas](/source/Port_Douglas), [Queensland](/source/Queensland).[1]

Heuston had a small non-speaking role in *[Thor: Love and Thunder](/source/Thor:_Love_and_Thunder)* as a Zeus Pretty Boy.[15] He played Dusty in *[Heartbreak High](/source/Heartbreak_High_(2022_TV_series))* (2022–2024), a [Netflix](/source/Netflix) reboot of the [1990s series of the same name](/source/Heartbreak_High).[16] In December 2022, it was announced that Heuston has been cast as [Constantine Corrino](/source/Constantine_Corrino) in the 2024 [HBO](/source/HBO) *[Dune](/source/Dune_(franchise))* prequel television series, *[Dune: Prophecy](/source/Dune:_Prophecy)*.[17]
