# Josef Heumann

**Josef Heumann** (born October 14, 1964) was a [West German](/source/West_Germany)-[German](/source/Germany) [ski jumper](/source/Ski_jumper)[1] who competed from 1981 to 1992.[2] He finished sixth in the team large hill event at the [1988 Winter Olympics](/source/1988_Winter_Olympics) in [Calgary](/source/Calgary).[3]

Heumann finished 23rd in the individual large hill event at the [1989 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships](/source/1989_FIS_Nordic_World_Ski_Championships) in [Lahti](/source/Lahti). He finished 18th in the 1990 [Ski-flying World Championships](/source/Ski-flying_World_Championships) in [Vikersund](/source/Vikersund).[4]

Heumann's best individual world Cup career finish was second in a normal hill event in [West Germany](/source/West_Germany) in 1989.[5]
