**Jonkersberg** is a small village and forestry station in the [Western Cape](/source/Western_Cape) province of [South Africa](/source/South_Africa).

The village was established around 1916 when European woodcutters from [Knysna](/source/Knysna) were resettled in Jonkersberg, as well as [Franschhoek](/source/Franschhoek).[1][2]

Jonkersberg lies at the foothills of the [Outeniqua Mountains](/source/Outeniqua_Mountains). [3]

In the [2011 South African census](/source/2011_South_African_census) the village's population was 114 people living in 24 households.[4]
