**Joncet station** ([French](/source/French_language): *Gare de Joncet*) is a French railway station located in the village of *Joncet le Sola* on the territory of the [commune](/source/Communes_of_France) of [Serdinya](/source/Serdinya) in the [department](/source/Departments_of_France) of [Pyrénées-Orientales](/source/Pyr%C3%A9n%C3%A9es-Orientales). It is located at [kilometric point](/source/Kilometric_point) (KP) 6.229 km on the [Ligne de Cerdagne](/source/Ligne_de_Cerdagne) and is served by [TER Occitanie](/source/TER_Occitanie) operated by the [SNCF](/source/SNCF), line 32 (Latour-de-Carol-Enveitg–Villefranche-Vernet-les-Bains, *Train Jaune*).[1][2]

In 2018, the SNCF estimated that 29 passengers passed through the station.[3]

## History

The station was opened on 18 July 1910 by the [Chemins de fer du Midi](/source/Chemins_de_fer_du_Midi), along with the first section of the [Ligne de Cerdagne](/source/Ligne_de_Cerdagne) between [Villefranche](/source/Villefranche-Vernet-les-Bains_station) and [Mont-Louis](/source/Mont-Louis-La_Cabanasse_station).[4]
