**Jonathan Haskell** (March 19, 1755 – December 14, 1814) was an American military officer who served as acting [Adjutant General](/source/List_of_Adjutant_Generals_of_the_U.S._Army) and acting [Inspector General of the U.S. Army](/source/List_of_Inspectors_General_of_the_U.S._Army) in 1796. After the war he returned to farm in [Belpre, Ohio](/source/Belpre%2C_Ohio).[1]
