# Jonathan Clinkscale

**Jonathan Clinkscale** (born 1982) is an American former [football](/source/American_football) [right guard](/source/Right_guard).[1] He played [college football](/source/College_football) at [University of Wisconsin](/source/University_of_Wisconsin). He went undrafted and played professionally for the [Tampa Bay Buccaneers](/source/Tampa_Bay_Buccaneers) and the [Cincinnati Bengals](/source/Cincinnati_Bengals) of the [National Football League](/source/National_Football_League) (NFL).

## Early years

Clinksale's parents divorced when he was young.[2] He has a fraternal twin sister, [Aja Brown](/source/Aja_Brown), who was mayor of [Compton, California](/source/Compton,_California) from 2013 to 2021.

## Professional career

### Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Clinkscale was signed by the [Tampa Bay Buccaneers](/source/Tampa_Bay_Buccaneers) after going undrafted in the [2005 NFL draft](/source/2005_NFL_draft).

### Rhein Fire

Clinkscale signed with [Rhein Fire](/source/Rhein_Fire_(NFL_Europe)) of the [National Football League Europa](/source/National_Football_League_Europa) in 2007.

### Orlando Predators

Clinkscale signed with the [Orlando Predators](/source/Orlando_Predators) of the [Arena Football League](/source/Arena_Football_League) in 2008.

## Personal life

Clinkscale currently resides in Madison, Wisconsin and works for the [Madison Fire Department](/source/Madison_Fire_Department).[3]
