Carson is a trained [Electrician](/source/Electrician), studied at [Northern Alberta Institute of Technology](/source/Northern_Alberta_Institute_of_Technology), first attaining a diploma in radio and television broadcasting, then later returning for an electrical apprenticeship.<ref name=":0" />
