**John Nolland** is an Australian [Anglican](/source/Anglican) priest and [Bible](/source/Bible) scholar. He is Tutor in [New Testament](/source/New_Testament) at [Trinity College, Bristol](/source/Trinity_College%2C_Bristol) and also holds the title of visiting professor at the [University of Bristol](/source/University_of_Bristol).

He served in the [Anglican Diocese of Sydney](/source/Anglican_Diocese_of_Sydney) and taught at [Regent College](/source/Regent_College) in [British Columbia](/source/British_Columbia), [Canada](/source/Canada). He has a background in science.

His studies focus on the Gospels and he has written books on the Gospels of *[Luke](/source/Gospel_of_Luke)* and *[Matthew](/source/Gospel_of_Matthew)*.
