The **John Michael Farm** is an historic farm complex that is located in the [Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area](/source/Delaware_Water_Gap_National_Recreation_Area) in [Middle Smithfield Township](/source/Middle_Smithfield_Township%2C_Monroe_County%2C_Pennsylvania), [Monroe County, Pennsylvania](/source/Monroe_County%2C_Pennsylvania), United States.

It was added to the [National Register of Historic Places](/source/National_Register_of_Historic_Places) in 1980.[1]

## History and architectural features

Built circa 1875, this historic structure is a two-story, frame building that sits on a [fieldstone](/source/Fieldstone) foundation. Designed in a [Late Victorian](/source/Victorian_architecture) style, it has a [slate](/source/Slate) roof and [stucco](/source/Stucco)-coated, flared brick chimney. Also located on the property are a one-room wash house (c. 1875), a large frame Pennsylvania [bank barn](/source/Bank_barn) with a shed addition and [silo](/source/Silo), and a wagon shed.[2]
