**John Halvar Theofron Lindgren** (8 November 1899 – 30 January 1990)[1] was a [Swedish](/source/Sweden) [cross-country skier](/source/Cross-country_skiing_(sport)) who won the 1927 world titles in the 18 km and 50 km events.[2] He finished eighth in the 50 km race at the [1932 Winter Olympics](/source/1932_Winter_Olympics). His younger brother [Ivan](/source/Ivan_Lindgren) was also an Olympic cross-country skier.[3]
