**John Fritsche Jr.** (born September 3, 1991) is a Swiss-American former professional [ice hockey](/source/Ice_hockey) [forward](/source/Forward_(ice_hockey)).

## Personal life

His father, [John Fritsche Sr.](/source/John_Fritsche_Sr.), was a longtime player in [Switzerland](/source/Switzerland) for [HC Ambri-Piotta](/source/HC_Ambri-Piotta), [HC Lugano](/source/HC_Lugano) and [EV Zug](/source/EV_Zug), played for the [United States](/source/United_States) at the 1990 [World Hockey Championship](/source/World_Hockey_Championship), and coached the [Ohio Junior Blue Jackets](/source/Ohio_Junior_Blue_Jackets).
