**John F. Cunningham** (died 1954) was an [Irish](/source/Irish_people) medical practitioner and an [independent](/source/Independent_politician_(Ireland)) member of [Seanad Éireann](/source/Seanad_%C3%89ireann).[1]

He was elected to the [7th Seanad](/source/7th_Seanad) on 25 February 1953 at a [by-election](/source/By-election) for the [National University](/source/National_University_of_Ireland_(constituency)) constituency caused by the death of [Helena Concannon](/source/Helena_Concannon).[1] He lost his seat at the 1954 election.
