**Johan Danielsson** (born 30 June 1982) is a Swedish [trade unionist](/source/Trade_unionist) and politician of the [Social Democratic Party](/source/Social_Democratic_Party) who has served as Minister for Housing and Deputy Minister for Employment in [cabinet](/source/Andersson_Cabinet) of [Prime Minister](/source/Prime_Minister_of_Sweden) [Magdalena Andersson](/source/Magdalena_Andersson) until Magdalena Andersson did not get reelected.[2]

## Political career

Danielsson was elected into the European Parliament in the [2019 elections](/source/2019_European_Parliament_election).[3] In parliament, he served on the [Committee on Transport and Tourism](/source/Committee_on_Transport_and_Tourism). In addition to his committee assignments, he was part of the Parliament's delegation for Northern cooperation and for relations with [Switzerland](/source/Switzerland) and [Norway](/source/Norway) and to the EU-Iceland Joint Parliamentary Committee and the [European Economic Area](/source/European_Economic_Area) (EEA) Joint Parliamentary Committee. He was replaced in the European Parliament by [Ilan de Basso](/source/Ilan_de_Basso).
