# Jochem Fluitsma

**Jochem Fluitsma** (ˈjɔxəɱ ˈflœytsmaː; born 1 June 1958 in [Amsterdam](/source/Amsterdam), [Netherlands](/source/Netherlands)), is a Dutch [music producer](/source/Record_producer) and musician. With [Eric van Tijn](/source/Eric_van_Tijn), he is also part of the musical writing duo [Fluitsma & Van Tijn](/source/Fluitsma_%26_Van_Tijn). He has written songs for The Scene, [Guus Meeuwis & Vagant](/source/Guus_Meeuwis), [Loïs Lane](/source/Lo%C3%AFs_Lane), De Kast, [Willeke Alberti](/source/Willeke_Alberti), the [Dolly Dots](/source/Dolly_Dots) and [Mathilde Santing](/source/Mathilde_Santing) and [Status Quo](/source/Status_Quo_(band)).

He wrote the song "[Vrede](/source/Vrede_(song))" with Eric van Tijn for [Ruth Jacott](/source/Ruth_Jacott), who represented the Netherlands in [1993 Eurovision Song Contest](/source/Eurovision_1993) coming 6th overall. Van Tijn also co-wrote with Fluitsma the song "[Hemel en aarde](/source/Hemel_en_aarde) for "[Edsilia Rombley](/source/Edsilia_Rombley) who represented the Netherlands coming 4th overall.

He also took part in *[Idols](/source/Idols_(Netherlands))* as a musician. He won the Golden Harp Dutch music award in 1997, concurrently with Eric van Tijn.[1]
