**Jimmy Powell Oval** is a [cricket](/source/Cricket) ground in [West Bay](/source/West_Bay%2C_Cayman_Islands), [Grand Cayman](/source/Grand_Cayman), near the city of [George Town](/source/George_Town%2C_Cayman_Islands).

The ground is named after Jimmy Powell (born 1940), a former president of the [Cayman Islands Cricket Association](/source/Cayman_Islands_Cricket_Association).[1] In April 2022, the ground was the venue for the first [Twenty20 International](/source/Twenty20_International) (T20I) matches to be held in the Cayman Islands, when the [Cayman Islands team](/source/Cayman_Islands_national_cricket_team) hosted a [series against Bahamas](/source/Bahamian_cricket_team_in_the_Cayman_Islands_in_2021%E2%80%9322).[2] These were the first official T20I matches to be played in the Cayman Islands since the [International Cricket Council](/source/International_Cricket_Council) (ICC) granted full T20I status to all competitive matches between its [members](/source/List_of_International_Cricket_Council_members) from 1 January 2019.[3]
