**James Ellis Lander** (October 14, 1912 – June 21, 1989) was an American [gridiron football](/source/Gridiron_football) player who played [Canadian football](/source/Canadian_football) for the [Winnipeg Blue Bombers](/source/Winnipeg_Blue_Bombers). He won the [Grey Cup](/source/Grey_Cup) with them in 1941.[1][2]
