# Jim Neylan

**James Joseph Neylan** (30 April 1885 – 5 July 1969) was an [Australian rules footballer](/source/Australian_rules_football) who played with [Fitzroy](/source/Fitzroy_Football_Club) and [Carlton](/source/Carlton_Football_Club) in the [Victorian Football League](/source/Victorian_Football_League_(1897%E2%80%931989)) (VFL).[1]

## Death

He died on 5 July 1969.[2]
