Gueno played football at the collegiate level for [Tulane University](/source/Tulane_University).

Gueno was selected by the [Green Bay Packers](/source/Green_Bay_Packers) in the ninth round of the [1976 NFL draft](/source/1976_NFL_draft) and played with the team for five seasons.
