The magazine was initially funded by the [Tikvah Fund](/source/Tikvah_Fund), founded by [Zalman Bernstein](/source/Zalman_Bernstein).<ref name="smith" /><ref name="Herschthal -Can New Journal Find Its Niche" /> In 2022, the publication separated from the Tikvah Fund.
