'''JetStream''' and '''Mobile JetStream''' are two former brand names used by [Spark New Zealand](/source/Spark_New_Zealand) (at the time known as Telecom) to market its [retail](/source/retail) and resale [ADSL](/source/ADSL)-based [fixed line](/source/fixed_line) and [CDMA2000](/source/CDMA2000)-based [3G](/source/3G) [wireless](/source/wireless) [Internet access](/source/Internet_access) offerings respectively. The retail ADSL offering from its own [Internet service provider](/source/Internet_service_provider), [Xtra](/source/Xtra_(ISP)), was commonly referred to by the company as ''Xtra Broadband''. "Jetstream" is no longer used, and was later replaced with "Ultra" for their Broadband and Mobile offerings. Xtra branding was retired in 2008.

Retail [ADSL](/source/ADSL) offerings (using Telecom's network) from non-Telecom ISPs such as [Vodafone](/source/Vodafone) and [Slingshot (ISP)](/source/Slingshot_(ISP)) were often sold under the [resale](/source/reseller) option. The Jetstream partnering program was retired in August 2005. Resellers were then migrated to retail plans that either use Telecom's [wholesale](/source/wholesale)d ''WBS'' or ''UBS'' ADSL offerings.

[VDSL](/source/VDSL2) and [Fibre broadband](/source/Fibre_broadband) started becoming more popular options in 2014, eventually being overtaken by [fibre](/source/Fiber-optic_communication), offered by [Chorus](/source/Chorus_Limited), a lines company that was spun off from Telecom in 2011.<ref>{{cite news |last=Keall |first=Chris |date=2013-07-08 |title=Telecom launches VDSL turbocharged copper broadband - and fronts on premium charges |url=http://www.nbr.co.nz/opinion/telecom-finally-launching-vdsl-plans-offering-much-faster-copper-broadband |url-status=dead |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20130716025833/http://www.nbr.co.nz/opinion/telecom-finally-launching-vdsl-plans-offering-much-faster-copper-broadband |archive-date=2013-07-16 |access-date=2024-09-05 |work=[The National Business Review](/source/The_National_Business_Review) |publisher=}}</ref>
