==Biography==
The son of a schoolteacher, Redondo was born in [Valladolid](/source/Valladolid), Spain.

He moved to [Madrid](/source/Madrid) in 1958 to work for an advertising agency, and was soon head of studio. His first comics work was "Profesor Woosley" for Editorial Bruguera in 1962. His Spanish work includes ''[El Capitán Trueno](/source/El_Capit%C3%A1n_Trueno)'', ''Un Paseo por la Rioja'', ''Centauro'' and ''SOS Dossier Ecológico''. In the mid-1960s he began working for UK publishers [D. C. Thomson & Co.](/source/D._C._Thomson_%26_Co.) and [IPC](/source/IPC_Media), initially on girls' comics like ''[Diana](/source/Diana_(comic))'' ("Suzette of the Silver Sword") and ''[Jackie](/source/Jackie_(magazine))'', later on boys' adventure comics like ''[2000 AD](/source/2000_AD_(comic))'', ''[Starlord](/source/Starlord_(comics))'', ''[Tornado](/source/Tornado_(comics))'' and ''[Scream!](/source/Scream!_(comics))'', including drawing [Dan Dare](/source/Dan_Dare) for the ''[Eagle](/source/Eagle_(British_comics))'' in 1986. In the 1990s he worked on ''[Motormouth and Killpower](/source/Motormouth_and_Killpower)'' for [Marvel UK](/source/Marvel_UK), and ''[Star Trek](/source/Star_Trek_(comics))'' and ''[Kitty Pryde](/source/Kitty_Pryde)'' for [Marvel US](/source/Marvel_Comics).
