# Jervonte Edmonds

**Jervonte Edmonds** (born June 11, 1991)[1] is an American politician.[2] A member of the [Democratic Party](/source/Democratic_Party_(United_States)), he represents the [88th district](/source/Florida's_88th_House_of_Representatives_district) in the [Florida House of Representatives](/source/Florida_House_of_Representatives).[1]

Edmonds was born in [Titusville, Florida](/source/Titusville,_Florida).[1] He attended [Florida Atlantic University](/source/Florida_Atlantic_University), where he earned his [bachelor's degree](/source/Bachelor's_degree) in 2015.[1] He settled in [West Palm Beach, Florida](/source/West_Palm_Beach,_Florida).[1] In 2022, Edmonds was elected for the [88th district](/source/Florida's_88th_House_of_Representatives_district) of the [Florida House of Representatives](/source/Florida_House_of_Representatives) against Guarina Torres.[3] He succeeded [Omari Hardy](/source/Omari_Hardy).[4] Edmonds assumed office on March 8, 2022.[1]
