**Jeremy Healy** (born **Jeremiah Healy**, 18 January 1962) is an English [DJ](/source/Disc_jockey) and singer. He is a former member of 1980s pop group [Haysi Fantayzee](/source/Haysi_Fantayzee).

## Career

Healy was born in [Woolwich](/source/Woolwich), [South London](/source/South_London). In the 1980s, with [Paul Caplin](/source/Paul_Caplin) and [Kate Garner](/source/Kate_Garner), he formed pop group Haysi Fantayzee.[1] He also acted as co-[songwriter](/source/Songwriter) and co-[producer](/source/Record_producer) for [E-Zee Possee](/source/E-Zee_Possee) and Bleachin'. In addition, he worked with [Gwen Stefani](/source/Gwen_Stefani) on the [mashup](/source/Mashup_(music)) for her "[Wind It Up](/source/Wind_It_Up_(Gwen_Stefani_song))" [single](/source/Single_(music)).

He was voted 'number one DJ' by *[The Face](/source/The_Face_(magazine))* and *[Mixmag](/source/Mixmag)* magazines.[2] Healy worked as producer and did [sound effects](/source/Sound_effect) for the video for [Duran Duran](/source/Duran_Duran)'s *[Arena (An Absurd Notion)](/source/Arena_(An_Absurd_Notion))*,[2] and has [remixed](/source/Remix) work by both [Boy George](/source/Boy_George) and [George Michael](/source/George_Michael). 2004 saw the launch of Healy's latest [recording](/source/Sound_recording_and_reproduction) project, [Seraphim](/source/Seraphim) Suite, collaborating with a variety of featured vocalists including [Mica Paris](/source/Mica_Paris) on the first single "Heart" (Inferno Records). His [disc jockey](/source/Disc_jockey) duties between 2004 and 2006 included residencies with [Miss Moneypenny's](/source/Miss_Moneypenny's) in Ibiza and Cyprus, plus regular UK dates with Empire, Love to Be, Time Flies, Syndicate, Kool Waters, Naughty But Nice, and overseas events in Dubai, the Mediterranean, the United States and Brazil. In 2007, Healy undertook the musical director's role for Gwen Stefani's Lamb fashion label, The Golden Age of Couture at the [Victoria and Albert Museum](/source/Victoria_and_Albert_Museum) in London, [Naomi Campbell](/source/Naomi_Campbell)'s Fashion For Relief, the Parisian jewellers [Chaumet](/source/Chaumet), plus the launch of [J-Lo](/source/Jennifer_Lopez)'s fashion wear. 2007 saw production credits on a Gwen Stefani album and remix credits for "Wind It Up".

## Personal life

On 29 November 2007, an announcement was made that Healy and [Patsy Kensit](/source/Patsy_Kensit) were to marry.[4] However, on 31 March 2008 it was reported that the pair had "mutually" split and called off their wedding.[5] The pair eventually married on Saturday 18 April 2009,[6] but in April 2010 were reported to be separating.[7]
