# Jere Schuler

**Jere W. Schuler** (born March 26, 1934) is an American former politician who was a [Republican](/source/Republican_Party_(United_States)) member of the [Pennsylvania House of Representatives](/source/Pennsylvania_House_of_Representatives).

Schuler is a 1952 graduate of [J. P. McCaskey High School](/source/J._P._McCaskey_High_School).[3] He earned a degree from [Millersville University](/source/Millersville_University_of_Pennsylvania) in 1956 and a [M.Ed.](/source/Master_of_Education) degree from [Temple University](/source/Temple_University) in 1962.[3]

He was first elected to represent the [43rd legislative district](/source/Pennsylvania_House_of_Representatives,_District_43) in the [Pennsylvania House of Representatives](/source/Pennsylvania_House_of_Representatives) in 1982, a position he held until his retirement prior to the [2002 elections](/source/Pennsylvania_House_of_Representatives_elections,_2002).
