'''Jenne Farm''' is a farm located in [Reading](/source/Reading%2C_Vermont), [Vermont](/source/Vermont), United States.<ref>{{Cite web|url=https://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2017/10/13/the-autumn-cult-jenne-farm/6j0Mk6LdoJ566QFBAetosM/story.html|title=The autumn cult of Jenne Farm|last=Baker|first=Billy|date=2017-10-13|website=The Boston Globe|access-date=2019-02-26}}</ref> It is one of the most photographed farms in the world, especially in [autumn](/source/autumn). The farm has appeared in magazine covers, photography books and several [Budweiser](/source/Budweiser_(Anheuser-Busch)) television advertisements; it has also served as a setting in the films ''[Forrest Gump](/source/Forrest_Gump)'' and ''[Funny Farm](/source/Funny_Farm_(film))''.<ref name=":0">{{Cite web|url=https://www.tripsavvy.com/jenne-farm-new-englands-most-photographed-1599244|title=Visit the Most-Photographed Farm in Vermont|last=Knox Beckius|first=Kim|date=2018-10-09|website=TripSavvy|access-date=2019-02-26}}</ref> Photographs of the farm have appeared on [poster](/source/poster)s, [postcard](/source/postcard)s and [wall calendar](/source/wall_calendar)s.<ref>{{Cite web|url=https://newengland.com/yankee-magazine/travel/vermont/jenne-farm-reading-vt/|title=Encyclopedia of Fall: J is for Jenne Farm|date=2015-10-11|website=New England Today|language=en-US|access-date=2019-02-26}}</ref>

Despite its fame, the private farm is located along a [dirt road](/source/dirt_road) and is not heavily promoted. The only sign indicating its presence is a tiny board along [Vermont Route 106](/source/Vermont_Route_106) advertising [maple syrup](/source/maple_syrup).<ref name=":1">{{Cite web|url=http://www.scenesofvermont.com/jennyfarm/jenne.htm|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/19990219170535/http://www.scenesofvermont.com/jennyfarm/jenne.htm|url-status=usurped|archive-date=February 19, 1999|title=Vermont's Jenne Farm|last=PB Publishing|website=www.scenesofvermont.com|access-date=2019-02-26}}</ref>

The farm became noted for photogenic scenery around 1955, when a photography school in [South Woodstock](/source/South_Woodstock%2C_Connecticut) discovered it.<ref name=":1" /> Later, it appeared as an entry in a ''[Life](/source/Life_(magazine))'' photography contest, on the cover of ''[Yankee](/source/Yankee_Magazine)'' magazine and in ''[Vermont Life](/source/Vermont_Life)''.<ref name=":0" />

As a result of being overrun by tourists trespassing on the farm, the town has closed the road leading to the farm to non-local traffic.<ref>{{Cite web|url=https://www.wcax.com/2023/10/02/trespassing-tourists-lead-closure-another-rural-vermont-road/|title=Trespassing tourists lead to closure of another rural Vermont road|first=Adam|last=Sullivan|date=October 2, 2023|website=www.wcax.com}}</ref>
