**Jeffrey Richard** (born March 24, 1979) is a [Canadian](/source/Canadians) [curler](/source/Curling) from [Lake Country, British Columbia](/source/Lake_Country%2C_British_Columbia).[1] He currently [skips](/source/Skip_(curling)) his own team out of [Kelowna](/source/Kelowna).

## Career

To date, Richard has won two [provincial championships](/source/BC_Men's_Provincial_Curling_Championship) and has made two [Brier](/source/Tim_Hortons) appearances.[2] In 2010, Richard won the 2010 BC Men's provincial as [skip](/source/Skip_(curling)).

In 2016, Richard joined Team [Geall](/source/Sean_Geall).

In 2017, Richard played in the [Canadian Mixed Doubles](/source/2017_Canadian_Mixed_Doubles_Curling_Championship) with [Sarah Wark](/source/Sarah_Wark)

In 2018, Richard would win his second provincial title, defeating [Team Cotter](/source/Jim_Cotter_(curler)) in the final in an extra end.

## Personal life

Jeff Richard grew up in a family of curlers. His father is World and Canadian champion curler and coach [Gerry Richard](/source/Gerry_Richard). His sister [Jeanna Schraeder](/source/Jeanna_Schraeder) played third for the World and Canadian champion team [Kelly Scott](/source/Kelly_Scott).[3]

Richard is the manager at [Sunset Ranch Golf & Country Club](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sunset_Ranch_Golf_%26_Country_Club&action=edit&redlink=1) in [Kelowna](/source/Kelowna).[4] He is married to Brooklyn Leitch and has one son.[5]
