Born in [Bucharest](/source/Bucharest), [Romania](/source/Romania) (where he also died), he was most notable for directing films including ''[In Our Village](/source/In_Our_Village)'' (1951, in collaboration with [Victor Iliu](/source/Victor_Iliu)).

== Biography ==
