**Jean-Pascal Zadi** (born 22 August 1980 in [Bondy](/source/Bondy)) is a French director, actor and rapper. In 1999, he founded a rap group, La Cellule, with his brother Alain and his friend Stéphane.[1] In 2021, he received the [César Award for Most Promising Actor](/source/C%C3%A9sar_Award_for_Most_Promising_Actor) for his performance in *Simply Black*, which he also wrote and directed.[2]
