***Jazzical*** is the second solo album by [jazz](/source/Jazz) pianist [Mike Garson](/source/Mike_Garson).[1][2] It was released in 1982.[3]

## Background

The expression "jazzical" was first used by [Charles Mingus](/source/Charles_Mingus) as the title of his two-part album *[Jazzical Moods](/source/Jazzical_Moods)* (1955). "Jazzical" connotes a blend of [jazz](/source/Jazz) and [classical](/source/Classical_music) musics, as does the musical theory [third stream](/source/Third_stream).
