'''Jay Diamond''' is a former American [talk radio](/source/talk_radio) host from the [Manhattan Beach](/source/Manhattan_Beach%2C_Brooklyn) neighborhood of [Brooklyn, New York City](/source/Brooklyn%2C_New_York_City) who began his move to the radio by being a frequent caller to other radio programs, especially [New York City](/source/New_York_City)'s popular [Bob Grant](/source/Bob_Grant_(radio_host))'s show.

Diamond is a voice [impressionist](/source/Impressionist_(entertainment)) and has given short radio plays performed by "The Mighty Diamond Art Players," all of whom are himself.  One of his famous impersonations was of [Al Sharpton](/source/Al_Sharpton).  Diamond also [parodied](/source/parody) the speaking style of other New York City politicians, such as then-Governor [Mario Cuomo](/source/Mario_Cuomo) and former Mayor [Ed Koch](/source/Ed_Koch).
