==Professional club career==

Toyo began playing football for the youth squad of [Primera División Venezolana](/source/Primera_Divisi%C3%B3n_Venezolana) club [Caracas FC](/source/Caracas_F%C3%BAtbol_Club) and signed a professional contract with the club in 1998.  After the 1998-99 season, he joined [Atlético El Vigía Fútbol Club](/source/Atl%C3%A9tico_El_Vig%C3%ADa_F%C3%BAtbol_Club) for one season before returning to Caracas FC.
